A warning to today’s wayward church:
Hell is real and you are going there if you don’t repent, and turn to God through Jesus Christ. Many Christians need to repent also. You are talking the talk, but not walking the walk. God is not a God to be fooled with! God is telling His church to repent. They are wayward and backslidden. They are lukewarm and grown cold. They are worldly and puffed up. They are hard-hearted and selfish. They resist the truth instead of submitting to the truth.
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
(James 4:4 King James Version)
The churches are filled with people that need to repent. If they don’t repent, they will go to hell. Many Christians are full of themselves. Christians are supposed to be humble and self-denying:
“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
(Matthew 18:2-4)
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
(Matthew 16:24)
Why are so many in today’s church, arrogant, puffed up, jumped up, and full of themselves? Is this what Jesus died on the cross for? Who are we? We are nothing without Him. We should all know this. Christians coming into the church like they are something; sinners coming into the church like they are something, and being welcomed. What is this? What sort of Christianity is this? You did not get this Christianity from the Bible! If it is not done God’s way, it is not God’s church. God is a God of judgment. How long do you think He will tolerate this foolishness and wickedness?
“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
(John 15:6)
Pastors that wear skinny jeans to be relevant and “cool”, and preach a compromised gospel are going to hell. Tell the people the truth, or their blood will be on your hands! Some of these pastors were called but are grossly getting it wrong; others were never called to pastor in the first place.
“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.”
(Revelation 3:16-17)
If you have wandered off the strait and narrow way, you are on your way to hellfire!
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
(Matthew 7:13-14)
Much of the church today is a shame and a disgrace. In some cases, they are more worldly than the world. Instead of being ashamed of themselves, they are puffed up, thinking they have tapped into some new revelation. It is not a revelation but an end-time deception.
We were warned about this in the last days: wolf-pastors and unsound Christians that love themselves:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
(2 Timothy 4:3-4)
“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”
(2 Peter 2:19-20)
There are blind Christians and blind leaders in the church today:
“But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
(Matthew 15:13-14)
“But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.”
(2 Peter 1:9)
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
(2 Peter 4:17)
Don’t use the “don’t judge” spiel to get yourself off the hook. I will have you know that God is raising up prophets in this day and hour to deal with the end-time church, and God will deal with a wayward church most severely!
